Whistler real estate transaction report for August 2
I trust you had a great weekend and that your week is off to a good start. Last week I mentioned how impressed I was with the new Olympic Plaza stage and the benefits of owning a unit in the Tyndalstone Lodge facing this area. This past week the Whistler concert series announced 3 acts that will be playing free concerts in August. Canadian recording artist Tom Cochrane will be performing Aug. 12 and The Bare Naked Ladies will be performing August 21. Also performing on Aug. 13 will be Colin James Jason Mraz, who will be accompanied by percussionist Toca Rivera. SO for those people looking for their own private front row seat, I encourage you to explore the opportunities available in the Tyndalstone.
Listings are back to a more regular number this week (I hesitate to use the term ‘normal’) with 32 new postings. Sales remain steady at 9, and we saw 35 Price reductions. This compares to last week which saw 22 new listings, 12 sales and 25 price reductions. As expected the number of listings was higher than average due to most people listing on the 1 of the month.
